Gate 1 · Product owners
If you make it, this is where you start.
Before we introduce a product to a single buyer, we need to understand it properly. Qualification is thorough, but it is done once — and everything afterwards runs from it.
Qualification
What we will ask you for.
Company
- Legal and trading name
- Registration number and jurisdiction
- Registered and operating addresses
- Website and authorised representatives
- References where available
Product
- Category, description and origin
- Manufacturing location
- Certifications and compliance
- Ingredients, allergens and packaging
- Shelf life and specifications
- Product liability insurance and expiry
Commercial
- MOQ, capacity and lead times
- Pricing, wholesale and RRP
- Existing territories and distributors
- Target territories and channels
- Logistics and fulfilment capability
- Samples and marketing assets
The form is conditional, saveable and resumable — irrelevant questions disappear, and you can return to it at any point. Product owners retain responsibility for the accuracy, legality, safety and compliance of their products; J&Y qualification does not transfer that responsibility.
Afterwards
What you get once approved.
